Visited on a Thursday around 6pm, they were busy and there was a bit of a wait for food. It seemed like some staff training too so clearly lots going on. I ordered for collection at 7:15. It was ready exactly on time and was freaking delicious! Crab gratin was mega, chips really good. All round excellent. It's a great sign when the commitment to food quality continues during testing times. Cheers.
My husband had cod & chips and I had goujons and chips on the last day of our holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed them and glad we do not live locally! Pleasant young man and young Iady and I wish you well with the business.
Definitely the best fish n chips we have ever had, we asked why he was only open for half the week, well he said at 4am I will be out catching the lobster crab and fish wasn't the response we expected but it was stunning, so fresh and as for the chips, we ordered 1 hour earlier and as we arrived we saw the fish and chips being freshly cooked by the Chef, would and will highly recommend

Amazing food to takeaway. The lobster roll and lobster in general are delicious. Great chips too!
Tried the chocolate ice cream, tasty and didn’t seem too sugary.

Lovely ice-cream we visited with our family and grandchildren twice whilst in Newport and would recommend. My only niggle was despite the advertised opening hours, it didn't actually follow them. However, our persistence paid off in the end!
Really a bit of an anti-climax Waited till last night of stay and had fish and chips The fish Considering the geography I was very disappointed with , I do wonder whether it was frozen? Not as tasty as I would expect The chips were actually better ! Staff were nice But overall at £12.95 an experience I may not repeat next time I’m down
